Since its foundation in 1989, the Kenfig Society members have published np fewer than 33 booklets on various topics related to the history of the Kenfig area. This culminated in the three-part series by Barrie Griffiths of KENFIG FOLK the definitive history and detailed of the Borough from its founding in 1149 to its demise in 1886.

BOOKS which mention Kenfig go back to Camden's 1607 Tour. The 1909 Buried City of Kenfig by Grey is the first complete book on the History of Kenfig. There have been many other published and unpublished works which are collected here, and may be available on application.
